About the Author

David R. Gruber is an Associate Professor at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is the coeditor of The Routledge Handbook of Language and Science (2019) and author of Brain Art and Neuroscience: Neurosensuality and Affective Realism (2020). He has published in the Quarterly Journal of Speech, Written Communication, and Rhetoric Society Quarterly, among other journals.
